Founded in 2024 by storyboard artist Meridian Gray Culpepper, Herringbone Animation was born in response to a shrinking creative landscape for artist-led animation.

We believe great storytelling requires two essential ingredients: stewardship and collaboration. Our mission is to champion storytellers, both established and emerging, by fostering an environment grounded in creative integrity and a commitment to doing what's right for the work and the people behind it.

The future of animation is the artists who create it.
